General information

The "National Maritime Shipping Company "Kazmortransflot" Limited Liability Partnership is created by the resolution of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1239, December 4, 1998.
The Company Shareholder is “National Company “KazMunaiGas" JSC which holds 100% of share package.
The main purpose of “NMSC “Kazmortransflot" LLP operation is development of national merchant marine fleet of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the organization of the international shipping of domestic freights by own forces.

Four subsidiaries companies - "Kazmortransflot Ltd.", "Kazmortransflot UK" Ltd, "Altai Shipping" Ltd and "Alatau Shipping" Ltd. are included in “NMSC “Kazmortransflot" LLP.

Vision and Mission of Company.

Kazmortransflot mission is to further develop national merchant marine and service fleet to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective maritime transport, both in the Caspian region, and outside ??the Caspian Sea water area.

STRATEGY KAZMORTRANSFLOT

“NMSC “Kazmortransflot" LLP as the National Maritime Carrier will render competitive services in transportation of oil and oil products, passengers, freights, including the humanitarian freight, special freights, will participate in formation of an integrated state policy in trade navigation sphere and provide realization of its main directions, will carry out the international cooperation in trade navigation sphere, will participate in establishing of legislative base of trade navigation in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The “NMSC “Kazmortransflot" LLP activity is regulated by the international and national normative legal acts. Adopted in January, 2002 the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About merchant marine" defines legal, organizational, economic and international bases of state administration in the sphere of merchant marine and regulates the relations connected with transportation of goods, passengers and baggage, safety on marine transport and environmental protection.
